Findbaya keeps this simple. We only use the cookies we need to keep you signed in and to protect your sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not use any tool that stores a tracking identifier on your phone or computer. Because of that, you will not see a cookie banner on Findbaya.
What we use
- Sign-in cookie (strictly necessary). Set only when a business owner logs in or creates an account. It keeps you signed in as you move between pages and it is removed when you log out or the session ends. It is not used to track you.
- Sign-in security cookie (strictly necessary). If you choose to sign in with an outside account, a short-lived cookie protects that sign-in from being hijacked. It is removed once the sign-in finishes.
Customers who only visit a business's lead page and send an enquiry are not given any cookie.
What we do not use
- No advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels.
- No analytics cookies and no analytics identifiers stored on your device.
- No session recording and no recording of what you type or tap.
Usage statistics without cookies
We count visits and a few button clicks (for example, that a lead was submitted) so we can see what works. This is done without storing anything on your device: the counting is held only in the page's memory and disappears when you close or reload the page. On a customer's lead page we send only the fact that a lead was submitted, nothing about what was typed. Fonts used on our pages are served from our own site, not from an outside font service. Cookies set by links you choose to open
Findbaya pages link out to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other websites that a business adds to its page. Once you open one of those, that website's own cookie rules apply. We do not control them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to log in to your Findbaya account, but visiting the homepage and sending an enquiry on a lead page will still work.
Changes
If we ever add a tool that needs cookies or similar storage, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
